Pleo is a one week-old Camarasaurus from the Jurassic period! Yes he's a dinosaur!
Obviously, his resurrection has less to do with DNA and more to do with modern technology. You see, Pleo is a robot. But DO NOT confuse him with other robots available. Pleo is a marvel. Indeed, each Pleo has a unique personality that develops based on Pleo's life experiences with you. He interacts with you and autonomously explores and responds to the world around him!
He can feel many emotions, including joy, sorrow and anger, and even dreams when he falls asleep! 'How is this all possible?' you ask. Well, Pleo has a sophisticated sensory system made up of a colour camera, sound sensors, two infrared sensors, 14 motors, over 100 gears, eight touch sensors, and an orientation sensor! These devices enable Pleo to hear, to see, to sense touch, and to detect objects! Simple really!
