In this one day workshop, you will learn how to taste wine and what you're looking for in a wine. You will cover all the main grape varieties and get a better understanding of what is behind the label. This course is a great introduction for the budding wine enthusiast. Each workshop starts at 10.30am and finishes around 4.30pm.

10.30 am Outline of the day's events and introductions

10.30 - 11.00 am Discover the systematic approach to wine tasting

11.00 - 13.00 pm White grape varieties around the world (6 wines)

13.45 - 15.45 pm Red grapes from around the world (6 wines)

15.45 - 16.30 pm Question time; storage, ageing potential, conclusion

These vouchers can be held and used for this course on any date it takes place, but the next one is on Saturday the 14th of April, at Midland Hotel, Manchester.
